Metal Fabrication in Lake Tahoe
Custom metal roofing panels, chimney caps, range hoods, and fabrication for Lake Tahoe homes. Fabricated in Reno with delivery.
Serving Lake Tahoe
Tahoe properties are built to impress and built to last. The combination of extreme weather, strict building codes, and high design expectations means every piece of metal needs to be right. We work with Tahoe architects, builders, and general contractors to deliver fabrication that meets the standard these homes require. From copper chimney caps to hot rolled steel kitchen hoods, our work shows up in some of the finest homes around the lake. Both the North Shore (Crystal Bay, Incline Village, Kings Beach, Tahoe City) and the South Shore (Stateline, Zephyr Cove, South Lake Tahoe) present unique construction challenges. TRPA regulations, fire-resistant material requirements, and the aesthetic expectations of lakefront and ski-access properties all factor into our fabrication approach. We build metal that meets these standards while looking exceptional.
Services Available in Lake Tahoe
All fabrication happens in our Reno shop. Here's what we supply for Lake Tahoe projects.
Custom Kitchen Hoods
A kitchen hood should be the centerpiece of the room, not an afterthought. Tahoe kitchens are built to impress, and our hand-finished range hoods in hot rolled steel, copper, and stainless show up in some of the finest homes around the lake. We coordinate directly with architects and designers to match the hood to the home's vision.
Custom Fireplace Surrounds
Transform your fireplace into a statement piece with a custom metal surround. In Tahoe great rooms, a blackened steel or copper surround becomes the focal point of the whole space, framing the fire against timber and stone. We fabricate each surround to exact dimensions in our Reno shop, about an hour from most lake locations.
Railings & Gates
Railings and gates should be strong, clean, and designed to fit the architecture, not pulled off a shelf. Lakefront and ski-access properties on both shores demand railings that handle deep snow and constant moisture without losing their looks. We fabricate custom systems, from cable rail for lake views to heavy gates for private drives, built to Tahoe's standards.
Chimney Caps
A proper chimney cap protects your flue from rain, snow, debris, and animals while looking clean from the curb. Tahoe's extreme snow loads and freeze-thaw cycles destroy stock caps, so we fabricate ours in copper and stainless at heavier gauges, sized to the exact flue. Copper caps are a signature detail on homes from Tahoe City to Zephyr Cove.
Custom Gutters
Gutters are one of the most overlooked parts of a home's exterior and one of the most critical for water management. At the lake, snowmelt and ice demand oversized gutters, robust hangers, and smart downspout placement, or water ends up where it shouldn't. We fabricate gutter systems built for Tahoe winters, in finishes that suit high-end mountain homes.
Metal Roofing Panels
We supply standing seam and exposed-fastener metal roofing panels engineered for Tahoe's snow loads, moisture, and UV exposure. Fire-resistant material requirements and TRPA considerations factor into every roof at the lake, and we help contractors spec gauges, coatings, and snow retention accordingly. Everything is fabricated in our Reno shop with delivery available to both shores.

Yes. We serve North Shore and South Shore projects from our Reno fabrication shop. Pickup or delivery coordination depends on the size and location of the order.
What should a Tahoe contractor send for a roofing material quote?
Send approved plans or field measurements, the panel profile and color, roof and flashing details, material quantities, project location, and delivery needs.
Who confirms snow-load and code requirements?
The project engineer, building department, and installer should confirm structural loads, code, and installation details. We fabricate and supply the specified panels, trim, flashings, and custom metal components.
